One of the delights of visiting Mary Yoder's is the time spent browsing in the gift shop. Whether you are looking for a special gift for that special occasion, or something unique and handcrafted, you will find it here. We have a large assortment of Amish jams, Amish noodles, Amish country licorice and fudge, and, of course, we have a selection of maple syrup and maple candy produced by one of our local Amish neighbors. For the stuffed animal lover in your family we carry well known companies such as Webkinz, Gund, Ty, and Russ. One of the most requested items in plush is the line of life-sized dogs by Melissa and Doug. The children enjoy the kid's corner, where there are so many different things to do! The working backhoe is irresistible, and develops coordination as they learn to work the different mechanical controls. There are Amish made rocking horses, dolls, marionettes, and many more items for kids. We are proud to carry Channel Craft toys, an American company completely made and packaged in the USA. Whether you enjoy stepping stones for your garden area, candles, beautiful glass cutting boards for the kitchen, garden flags for the front porch, or that special teapot, cookie jar, or figurine for your home, you will find it here. Some of the Amish made items include quilted aprons, potholders, Amish dolls, Amish baskets, and hickory and oak rockers. The Amish and Mennonite quilts are all exquisitely done, and will someday be family heirlooms. When you visit Mary Yoder's, plan on spending some time enjoying the gift shop.
