A Closer Look at this Previously Featured Amish Recipe
½ cup butter (melted)
½ cup light Karo syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups quick rolled oats
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
2 cups miniature marshmallows
Mix butter, Karo, sugar, salt, vanilla and rolled oats and
spread into a buttered pan with a damp spatula. Bake at
400o for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle top with
chocolate chips and marshmallows. Return to oven and
bake for 3 more minutes.
