A Closer Look at this Previously Featured Amish Recipe

Hot Fudge Pudding

1 cup flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 3/4 cups hot water

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup chopped nuts

1 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup cocoa

Preheat oven to 350o.  Sift together in a bowl: flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa.  Stir in milk, vegetable oil and nuts.  Pour into 9 inch square pan.  Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.  Pour hot water over mixture.  Bake in 350o oven for 45 minutes.  Cake mixture will rise to the top.  Serve with or without whipped cream.
